The commercial-license terms below are substantive but still pending final review by legal counsel before launch.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MathPrepAI (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree, you may not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Usage Limits & Quota

Free accounts may generate up to 30 worksheets per month; the counter resets on the first day of each calendar month. Paid subscribers may generate an unlimited number of worksheets each month. Storage quota (number of worksheets saved in your cloud library) varies by plan: Light 500, Personal 2,000, Creator unlimited. New accounts receive a 14-day Founder Pass granting full Creator-level access at no cost; access reverts to the Free tier at expiry.

4. Subscriptions & Refunds

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled. You may cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Within the first 7 days of an initial subscription, you may request a full refund. See the Refund Policy for Feature Pass and Lifetime refund terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse the Service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, share account credentials, or use generated content for unlawful purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

You own the worksheets you generate. The mathematical problems themselves are facts and not subject to copyright. The MathPrepAI platform, generators, algorithms, source code, worksheet templates, clip-art icons, name, and branding remain our exclusive property. Your right to use our assets inside the worksheets you create is governed by the Commercial License (Section 7) and the Our Icons & Fonts terms (Section 8).

7. Commercial License (Creator tier and above)

Subject to an active Creator-tier (or higher) subscription, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, print, distribute, publicly display, and sellthe worksheets you generate (each an "End Product"), including on marketplaces such as Amazon KDP, Teachers Pay Teachers, and Etsy, and through your own store or website. There is no per-unit sales limit.

Plan limits. The Free, Light, and Personal plans are for personal and classroom use only; selling or commercially distributing worksheets is not permitted on those plans. Only the Creator tier and above include commercial resale rights.

Survival. End Products you lawfully created and sold while on an eligible plan may continue to be used by their buyers after your subscription ends; your right to create and sell new End Products ends when your eligible plan lapses or these Terms are breached.

Provenance.Worksheets generated by the Service may carry an embedded, non-personal reference identifier so a file's origin can be verified in a dispute. You agree not to remove or alter this identifier.

8. Our Icons & Fonts

The clip-art icons we provide are original artwork created by MathPrepAI. The fonts we provide are open-source fonts licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or Apache License 2.0, which permit commercial use and embedding in PDF files. We sublicense these assets to you solely as they are incorporated into your End Products.

You may not: (a) extract, resell, redistribute, or sublicense our icons, fonts, or templates as standalone files or as a clip-art, asset, or template bundle; (b) sell an End Product whose primary value is our raw assets rather than the worksheet content; (c) distribute any font file on its own; (d) resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the MathPrepAI platform, generators, or algorithms; or (e) use the MathPrepAI name, logo, or marks without our written permission.

9. Your Uploaded Content

If the Service lets you upload images, logos, or other content (“User Content”), you represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to use, embed, and commercially exploit that content, and that it does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other right. You must not upload content depicting trademarked or copyrighted characters, brands, or logos you do not own.

Fonts may only be added from our Google Fonts catalog (all commercially licensed); arbitrary font-file uploads are not permitted. Any infringing font, image, or other element you introduce into a worksheet outside the Service is your sole responsibility.

You agree to indemnify and hold MathPrepAI harmless from any claim arising out of your User Content or your sale of End Products. You grant us a limited license to host and process your User Content solely to provide the Service; we do not redistribute your uploads to other users.

Copyright complaints. We respond to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and maintain a repeat-infringer policy. Send notices to copyright@mathprepai.com.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is.” While we verify every generated problem mathematically, we make no warranty regarding fitness for any particular pedagogical use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MathPrepAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
